South Korea has long been renowned for its rigorous education system and high academic achievements. In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on reforming the education system to foster creativity, critical thinking, and adaptability among students, rather than solely focusing on rote memorization and exam scores.


South Korea prioritizes education, investing significantly to provide high-quality learning from primary to tertiary levels. With a strong emphasis on STEM, the system aims to equip students for the modern workforce. Technology is integrated into education to enhance accessibility and learning experiences. Creativity, innovation, and critical thinking are fostered through project-based and interdisciplinary approaches. South Korea seeks to internationalize its education system, promote entrepreneurship, and address student well-being. Looking to 2030, it aims for a holistic education preparing students for personal fulfillment and success in a changing world, with reforms, increased investment in technology, and a focus on soft skills alongside academics. This proposal entails to better equip students aged 13 to 17 years old for success in education and hopefully the workforce for higher education, thereby contributing to the nation's overall economic advancement and development.

Fees include:

     USD3,000 (KRW 4,100,000)

  • Free for one accompanying teacher for groups of 20 or more.
  • All course registration fees, test fees, tuition fees, and material fees. 
  • Hotel accommodation: standard room in a local four-star hotel. 
  • Meals include Singapore specialties such as Hainanese chicken rice, bak kut teh, satay skewers, fried kway teow, Nyonya’s original delicacy laksa, Singapore crab, and more. 
  • A tour guide. 
  • Other terms and conditions apply.
  • Luxury air-conditioned vehicles. 

MCE reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time.

The fee does not include:

     Mandatory Costs

  • Airfare and mandatory insurance: approximately USD 800 (KRW 1,100,000).
  • IInternational air tickets (refer to round-trip flight costs). 
  • Passport and visa application costs. 
  • *Mandatory travel insurance.
  • Personal expenses and attractions.
  • Overseas communication costs. 
  • Shipping costs for materials and any other items. 
  • All expenses incurred due to personal reasons. 
  • Losses or compensation expenses caused by personal negligence, violation of rules or law. 
  • All additional expenses not listed in other itineraries and the above “price inclusions” clause. 
  • Losses and liabilities caused by time delays or itinerary changes due to weather or breakdown of aircraft, vehicles, ships, and other means of transportation. 

*Note: Travel insurance must cover the

entire travel duration period and the

recommended coverage is SGD150,000.

Terms and Conditions

  • Parents cannot participate with thier children.
  • The Learning Journey requires a minimum of 30 students, but the number of students can be negotiated.
  • All students must be at least 12 years old (by birth year) when they register for the Learning journey. 
  • MCE allows for one educator to accompany every 10 students during the Learning Journey.
  • MCE will only provide facilitators or trainers during the Learning journey workshops conducted at MCE assigned premises. 
  • Indemnity forms must be signed by parents and return to MCE at least 8 weeks prior to the first day of Learning journey. 
  • 100% payment must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the Learning journey and all contracts/agreements must be signed off. 
  • Behavioral management, disciplinary matters and punctuality issues will be undertaken by the educators during the entire Learning journey period. 
  • The fees collected are only for MCE to deliver the program. 
  • All registered participants must purchase their own travel insurance, book their own flight and have enough cash for other expenses. 
  • All hotel accommodation (with breakfast) is based on twin-sharing arrangement. Additional fees will apply for any upgrade or change of room type/sharing/additional bed. 
  • All meals will be arranged for paying participants and school/partner must indicate the dietary requirements in the spreadsheet provided. Each participant is given 1 set of food with 1 drink for each meal. Additional fees may be collected for additional food required by each participant. 
  • Participants may incur extra charges for additional food they ordered during mealtimes. 
  • MCE reserves the right to decide a single use and one-way mode of transportation and transport route to/from hotel to MCE assigned premises for participants to attend Learning journey workshops. Additional charges may be incurred for all day usage of the same transport.
  • Each coach can cater up to 40 passengers.
  • MCE will assign a guide to meet-and-greet for arrival and departure of the group. All participants must take the same flight and additional charges will be incurred for participants arriving at different times or requesting personalized pick-up to/from airport. 
  • A pre-trip briefing will be conducted with the educators at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of Learning journey.
  • All students must wear their school uniform (school T-shirt) during the entire Learning journey period.
  • School or partner is responsible to liaise with tour agency for any tours or additional chaperone/guides required to manage the group of students. Additional charges will be incurred based on the requirement.
  • (e.g. Universal Studio Singapore, Night Safari, Gardens by the Bay, Art Science Museum etc.).

*Students who are 13-year-old and above must purchase an adult ticket.

  • MCE is only responsible for the Learning journey workshops conducted at the premises assigned by MCE.
  • MCE reserves the right to change any term or condition before or during the course of the Learning journey.
